In June, our CEO Hunter Johnson was interviewed by Euronews for an article about whether big brands should be involved in Pride month. While some people question whether corporate Pride campaigns can be sincere, Hunter pointed out that brands have incredible power to shape society. “I grew up playing sports, and I was so scared of being myself and having a crush on one of my teammates,” Hunter says in the article. “When Nike came out with their ‘Be True’ campaign and said ‘Hey, you’re welcome here,’ it was the first time that I felt that I was just as good as any other basketball player out there. Brands have incredible power to lift and inspire.”
